Clay has a passion for helping people navigate complicated financial situations. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Clay understands the importance of honest and unbiased financial advice. He works with clients to understand their unique situations and provide solutions that help them reach their financial goals.

Clay graduated from Auburn University in 2015 with a degree in accounting and went to work on the tax side of a large, national public accounting firm, where he helped navigate complex tax situations for businesses and individuals. This provided a great background of knowledge, but the desire to work closer to clients and have a more direct impact on their lives led Clay to explore other career options. After seeing the positive impact his dad’s advice had on clients’ lives, he quickly developed the desire to make the same impact and joined Terry Investment Group as an advisor in 2018.

Clay resides in St Charles, Illinois, with his fiancé Lucia, and their golden retriever, Freddie. An avid golfer, you will frequently find him on the golf course. His other interests include Auburn University athletics and Atlanta Braves baseball.
